Médico graduado, pós-graduado e ortopedista pela Escola Paulista de Medicina(Universidade Federal de São Paulo). Fellow(visiting Clinician) em Ombro e Cotovelo na Mayo Clinic-EUA e Princeton Orthopaedic Associates-EUA. Fellow Research na Universidade de Estrasburgo-França, onde estudou robótica cirúrgica para Ombro, Cotovelo e Microcirurgia; e IFOR. Mestre em Ciências da Saúde pela Universidade de Liverpool-Inglaterra. Doutorado no departamento de cirurgia da USP.

Delegado da Sociedade Internacional de Artroscopia e Trauma do Esporte por 4 anos. Diretor da Robotic Assisted Microsurgery and Endoscopy Society. Diretor da relações internacionais da Sociedade Brasileira de Cirurgia de Ombro e Cotovelo.
